He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mayfield Johnston; his son Keith Johnston (Angela); his siblings, Janice Folmar (Rod) and Dale Johnston; his grandchildren, Shelby Jordan Carter (Jeremy), Mary Catherine Hovell (Thomas), Makenzie Johnston and Lacy Johnston; and his great grandchildren, Braxtyn Carter, Cameron Carter and Murphy Hovell.
