She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Vidak and William Herman Rau. She is survived by: her husband George; her brother-in-law Richard Wolfe (Ann); and her nieces, Emily Wolfe Leigh (Jack) and Susan Wolfe Huppman (Reed). She is also survived by four great nieces/nephews.
Acknowledging her contributions to the field, the National Trust for Historic Preservation invited her to serve on their National Advisory Board representing Alabama.
