He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ander and Lillie Averette; his siblings, Janey Averette, Judy Cedatol, Elevester Averette and Billy Jones Averette; and his grandparents, Tom, Vallie Averette, Luther and Lula Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Averette and Thomas "Brad" Averette Jr.; his siblings, Charles "Elester" Averette, Betty Ruth Fikes and Gayvon Lee (Spencer); his grandchildren, Hunter, Nicholas Dean, Madison Averette, Taylor Averette, Hannah Averette and Heidi Averette; and his great grandchildren, Wylder Drake, Maven Hunter and Presleigh Averette. He is also survived by family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Spring Hill Cemetery (Greensboro, AL 36744).
