He is survived by: his grandson Billy III; his great grandchild Boyd; his daughter Julie Boyd Jackson (Lance); his grandchildren, William Harvey Boyd III, Jonathan McAbee Boyd (Lanna), Alexander Boyd Jackson (Miriam), Susanna Elizabeth Jackson (Harrison) and Julianne Grace Jackson; his niece Vickie Rushing Snow (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Stella Pink Boyd and Alexander Boyd Jackson II; his pet Benelli; his caregivers, Dorkas James, Michael Carter, Jessica Wells, Carolyn Frierson, Nylen Patterson and Chris Killian; and his close friends, Becky Brittain, Stefanie McGuire, Janet O'Neal, Austin Abernathy, Becky Pradat, Shane Ballard, Lisa Heravi, Richard Key, Kim Townsend Gladney, Jeff, Susan Compton and Sherry Singley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Lake United Methodist Church (1711 4th Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manderson Cancer Center, National Wild Turkey Federation, American Heart Association, and Hospice of West Alabama.
