It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Stanfield of Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce Stanfield and Ercie Pearl Stanfield; his wife Carolyn Stanfield; his stepson Bennett Flanagan; and his siblings, Dorothy Mayfield and Bruce Stanfield.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Stanfield (Carla) of Jackson, TN and Melodie Smith of Florence; his stepson Lydell Flanagan (Tena) of Leighton; and his grandchildren, Cramer, Tanner, Hunter, Spencer Flanagan, Makayla Flanagan, MaRanda Tucker, Margee Stanfield and Mollie Smith. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug your family a little tighter, call someone you have not spoken to in a while, and help someone in need, just as Bobby always did.
