She was predeceased by : her husband Billy Clyde Elmore; her parents, Nell Whitman Dobbs Shepherd and Thomas Benjamin Shepherd, Sr.; and her siblings, Thomas Benjamin Shepherd, Jr. and Beverly Joan Shepherd Morgan.
She is survived by : her son Jason (Katherine); and her granddaughter Madeline. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with lifelong beloved friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the First Methodist Church of Tuscumbia to support its childcare and Sunday school programs, or to any charity dedicated to children.
