Doris Lowery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Lowery of Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Aldon Hunter and Gertrude Hunter (Wright); and her husband Carl Lowery. She is survived by : her children, Sherry Retherford (Farrell), Diane Singleton (Mack) and Charles Lowery (Kim); and her friends, Charlotte Vandiver, Mattie Johnson (McCoo) and Lee Mack Gotcher. She is also survived by "Granny" so at her request her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Alabama Christian Children's Home, United Cerebral Palsy of Alabama or Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
