She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Johnson Young; her son Ronald L. Young; her parents, George M. Brooks and Annie Katherine Brooks; and her siblings, Mae Brooks Limerick and George M. Brooks, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dennis W. Young (Glenda), Catherine E. Kelley, G. Todd Young (Robin) and G. Steven Young; and her daughter-in-law Teresa Young. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
