He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Schumann and Theodore Schumann; and his brother Timothy Schumann. He is survived by: his wife Iris Jones Schumann; his sons, Mark Anthony Schumann (Nimet) and Erik Wayne Schumann (Kim); his sister Marylyn Schumann Tobey (Gene); his sister-in-law Debra Jones; his grandchildren, Hannah Schumann, Kiley Schumann, Aaliyah Schumann and Mia Schumann; and his great grandchild Wyatt.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Florence (700 N Wood Ave, Florence, AL 35630).
