George Sharp Obituary

We announce the death of George Sharp (Tuscumbia, Alabama), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 69. George will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Sharp and Jennie Sharp. He is survived by: his son Justin Sharp; his daughter-in-law Sarah Sharp; his grandchildren, Lyndsee Sharp, Kassidi Sharp (Joey Howe) and Riley Sharp; his siblings, Virginia, Jackie, Linda, Ozelle, Joe, Don (Linda) and Joey (Ashley); and his caregiver Terry. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to the Russell Hill Foundation at Clearview Cancer Institute, the American Heart Association, or the Leukemia Society.
