She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar S. Smith and Alta Mae Morris Smith; her significant other Dalton Lee Wright; her siblings, Barbara Sue Lacks, Charles Ray Smith and Billy Carl Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Marvin A. Lacks and William Alvin Wright.

She is survived by : her son Chadwick Lee Wright (Kandi); her grandson Ben Wright of New Market, AL; her sisters-in-law, Bettie Sue Townsley (David), Catherine Wright and Carolyn Smith; her nephews, Jeff Wright (Libby), Ronald Lacks (Amanda), Rodney Lacks, Chris Smith (Belinda) and Chuck Smith (Alison); her niece Darlene Villalta; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson Villalta, Colby Smith, Colton Smith, Carley Ashe (Jordan) and Carmen Harris (Wes).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Tuscumbia First Methodist Church Mission Fund at 104 E. 3rd Street, Tuscumbia AL 35674 in her memory.
