It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh Hester of Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hugh Hester to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh Hester and Weber Hester; and his siblings, Martha Killian, Earleen Zinaman, Miranda Jett, Glenn Hester, Lawrence Hester, Rebecca Nail, Ruth Thompson, Wayne Hester and Jack Hester.

He is survived by : his wife Lucille Bolton Hester; his sons, Larry (Sandy) and Randy (Marian); his grandchildren, Chad (Alana), Will (Titus Daniels), Nicholas (Bess) and Emily Reaves (Jason); his great grandchildren, Jay, Anna Lee, Samuel, Eleanor, Thomas, Madeline Hester and Luke Reaves; his siblings, Douglas Hester, Ann Culberson and Dorothy Malone; and also Red Rock. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
