We announce the death of Jack Wright of Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Jack will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John L Wright and Margaret Counts Wright; his siblings, Raymond L Wright, Daniel T Wright, David L Wright, Martha Presley and Barbara J. Wright; his brothers-in-law, Billy Watson and Roger Presley; and his wife Jenny Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Cyndi Jones; his siblings, John Y. Wright Wright (Connie) and Mozella Watson; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Wright and Kim Wright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Gardens (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
