James Gordon Goins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gordon Goins of Tuscumbia, Alabama, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Gordon Goins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Goins and Sally Goins; and his wife Chris Goins. He is survived by : his children, Yvetta Harris (Albert), Ninka Elliott (Frankie) and James Jr. Goins (Deb); his stepson Larry Strickland (Regina); and his grandchildren, Wayne Harris (Karen), Josh Harris (Ester), Cindy Elliott, John Elliott (Alicia), Dr Leah Anderson (Seneca), Leisa McCullough (Scott), Sam Strickland (Haley) and James Goins III. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made in his memory to St Jude Children's Hospital.
