He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vardaman Hamilton and Lettie Ann Hamilton; and his siblings, Emogene McCalpin and Leonard Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Edna Earline Hamilton; his sons, Jim Hamilton (Kim) and Dennis Hamilton (Kelly); his sister Lorene Irman; his grandchildren, Stacey Burch, Stephane Hamilton and James Hamilton; his great grandchildren, Bryan Burch and Rhys Hamilton; and his stepgranddaughter Chaney Getchell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County (3440 AL-157, Leighton, AL 35646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
