It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Hugh Nix (Tuscumbia, Alabama), who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jimmy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jimmy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann; his daughter Tanya; his son-in-law Keith; and his granddaughters, Asia and Iva. He was also cherished by brother and sister in laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
