Judy left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Judy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence South and Marie South of Muscle Shoals, AL.. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Grubbs (Monica), Tony Grubbs (Chantelle) and Tim Grubbs (Malia); and her sisters, Jan Lasseter (Dave) and Faye Dawson (Ferrell). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
