She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Kennedy; her parents, Dan Halbrook and Lucille Halbrook; her siblings, Joe Halbrook and Reba Halbrook; and the father of her children Wyman Pyle.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Pyle (Lisa) and Tambra Howard (Rodney); her grandchildren, Eric Howard (Michelle), Rachel Knight (Rush), Tyler Pyle (Lauren) and Jacob Thompson (Bridgette); her great grandchild Buddy Curtis; her grandchildren, Carson, Weston, Wyatt, Ethan Pyle, Emmie, Eva, Maverick Howard, Reese and Rogan Knight; and her siblings, Paul Halbrook, Martha, Sue, Mary and Dottie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, the Tuscumbia Education Foundation, or Pets Are Worth Saving of the Shoals.
