He is survived by : his wife Barbara Cantrell; his sons, Blaine Cantrell (Rebecca) and Ricky Isbell (Michelle); his sister Beth Turner (Greg); his grandchildren, Jessica Isbell, Kathleen Cantrell, Kennedy Cantrell and Russell Isbell; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Cantrell (Stacy), Jor-El King (Heidi), Elizabeth White, Emily Ballantine (Billie) and Christi Martin (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Colbert County Animal Shelter.
