With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ruth Hyde of Tuscumbia, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Hyde; and her parents, Mirtie Barksdale and Henry Barksdale. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Hyde Spurgeon (Todd), Jacob, Celena and Ricky Hyde; her grandchildren, Alex, Kristen, Shawn and Angie; her son Ronnie Hyde; her grandson Jonathan; her brother Ralph Barksdale; and her great grandchild Jerald Barksdale. She is also survived by Numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
