He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gargis; his son Matt Gargis (Destin); his sisters, Reba Coats (Robert) and Helen Miles; his sister-in-law Sharon Hardwick (Rayford); and his granddaughters, Gracie Bay Gargis and Mattie Hope Gargis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
