With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Alexander Carmack of Tuscumbia, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 48. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Philip leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father James Carmack; his brother James Edward Carmack; and his grandparents, Owen, Susie Carmack, Eddie and Hazel Hargett.
He is survived by: his mother Patsy Carmack; and his sisters, Glenice Willingham and Bridget Phillips.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Washington Park Baptist Church (201 Broadway St, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
