As Ruby departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruby leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orb Petree and Alta Petree; her husband Blaine Greene; her child Tobin Greene; her brother Trilles Petree (Willodean); and her brother-in-law Howard Massey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Massey, Homer Petree (Ida) and Hollis Petree (Patricia); her caregiver Kay Lockridge; and her pet Roscoe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Gardens (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
