He was predeceased by: his parent Annie Pearl McCoy; his brothers, Willie James McCoy and Renardo McCoy; his mother-in-law Irene Porter; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Mitchell and Jason Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Anita McCoy; his children, Yolanda Amerson (Micheal), Donna McCoy, Zapporah Chatman, Shantia Stewart, Fannie Little and Kanan Porter; his grandchildren, Jakovia, Jaleah, Diamond, Deshawn, Zavier, Jakyrah and DaKota; his siblings, Debbie Nance (Fabian), Della Lynch (Eric), Tonya Langham (Terrance), Micheal McCoy (Sue Loise) and Abe McCoy (Laquetia); his father-in-law Leslie Porter Sr.; his siblings-in-law, Tynisha McCoy, Charlene Jones (Frankie), Daphne Cooper, Vivian Jones, Wanda Boggus, Wendy Porter, Renota Porter, Lee King, Darrell Porter Sr. (Charlotte), Marlon Porter Sr., Leslie Porter Jr. (Barbara) and Fred Porter Sr. (Jennifer); and his friend Jessie Crutch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
