She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Hovater and Mary Edna Love; her former life partner Bobby Gene Davis; her brother Glenn Hovater; and her stepfather Bill Love.

She is survived by : her husband Jerry Riddell; her sons, Kevin Davis (Cynthia) and Keith Davis (Janice); and her siblings, Tommy Love (Reba), Larry Hovater (Suzie) and Eileen Stadalsky. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
