She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Sims and Marie Grimmett Sims; and her husband Ted Buchanan, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ted Buchanan, Jr. (Merdice) of Fairlawn, OH, Marion Buchanan of Cordelle, GA, Ernestine Grimmett (Jay) of Winston, GA, Reginal Buchanan (Linda) of Tuskegee, AL, John Buchanan (Brenda) of Enterprise, AL, Phyllis Hoskins (Michael) of Fayetteville, GA and Paul Buchanan of Fayetteville, GA; and her sister Florine Pace of Tuskegee, AL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
