He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Stinson (Jackson) of Tuskegee, Alabama; his sons, Wesley P. Stinson (Theresa) of Luverne and Gregory J. Stinson (Robyn) of Brundidge, Alabama; and his stepchildren, Robert T. Hassett of Dadeville and Kimberley S. Hassett of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one sister and numerous cousins.

Family request donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and Union Christian Church, Tuskegee, Alabama.
