He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mercer and Elizabeth Davis. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Ruth Davis Smith (Mark) of Opelika, Lori Davis Atkins (Jack) of Pine Bluff, AR, John Mercer Davis, Jr. (Jennifer) of Millbrook and Sandra Davis of Tuskegee; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Adam Smith, Travis Davis (Lindsey) and Morgan Sheffield (Chris); his great-nephew Hudson Davis; his aunt Fan Youngblood (Harry); and his caregiver Mary Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of your choice.
