Taunton; his sister Kathryn S. Bracken; his uncle J. Larry Taunton; his daughter Caitlin Anckner (Michael); his grandchildren, Carter Anckner and Amelia Anckner of Savannah, GA; his siblings, Charlotte Smith of Auburn, AL and Will Smith of Atlanta, GA.; and his siblings' children, Brad Dyson (Teresa) of Rock Hill, SC, Candace D. Mangum (Shane) of Auburn, AL, Stephanie W. Harris (Hunter) of Auburn, AL, Mathew W. Bracken (Regan) of Portland, OR and Sarah B. Moore (Gary) of Louisville, KY. He was also cherished by six great nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Cemetery.
