He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Koehne Lightfoot and Richard William Lightfoot, Jr.; and his brothers, Richard William Lightfoot III and Frank Koehne Lightfoot. He is survived by: his wife Gene Givhan; his children, Robert M. Lightfoot, Jr. (Caroline) of Huntsville, AL and Genie Lightfoot Johnson (Miles) of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Kelsey Lightfoot Hanvey (Sam), Haley Lightfoot Johnson (Philip), Kendel Lee Frazer, Peyton Fraser, Miles Drew Johnson, Jr. and Jace P. Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Johnson, Alexander Johnson, Elise Johnson and Addison Hanvey.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo Fellowship Hall (861 Middle St, Montevallo, AL 35115).
