He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Daniel Scott and Edith Opal Whitlock Scott. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Scott; his children, L. Keith Scott (Denise) and Diane Scott (Ruben Collier); his grandchildren, Nic Scott (Steph), Kody Scott, Jade Scott, Tiffany Hamilton, Nene Scott, Sheena Scott, Delenza Scott and Rico Scott; his great grandchildren, Isaac Scott and Lorelei Scott; and his sister Nelda Simpson (Eugene). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Friendship Cemetery (2150 New Friendship Rd, Union Grove, AL 35175).
