She was predeceased by: her parents, James Compton and Lucy Compton; her husband Edward M. Kirkham; and her siblings, Joseph Earl Compton and Ella Grace Glaze.
She is survived by: her daughter Harriet K. Rutledge (Mark); her grandchildren, Travis Rutledge and Courtney Rutledge; her great grandchild Jaynie B. Rutledge; her sister Nell Glass; and her close friend Mary Williams (Reene). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rosemont Cemetery.
