She was predeceased by: her husband Willie E. Johnson; her father Freeman Smith; her siblings, Jimmy Smith, Rickey Smith and Connie Fuqua; and her mother Sarah Smith of Goodway.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Johnson (Cindy) of Bermuda, Mitch Johnson (Sharon) of Huxford and Sandy Jaye of Wetumpka; and her siblings, Don Smith (Carolyn) of Goodway, Russell Smith (Johnnie) of Goodway, Marilyn Woods (late Steve) of Talladega, Kathy Johnson (late Pascal) of Uriah and Cindy Smith of Goodway. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
