We announce the death of Tammy Driskell Lowrey of Uriah, Alabama, born in Atmore, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 64. Tammy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Daniel Winnel "DW" Driskell; her granddaughter Emma Grace Gilchrist; and her grandparents, Charlie, Cora Driskell, William and Nola Wall.
She is survived by: her mother Georgia Wall Driskell of McCullough, AL; her daughters, Maegan Gilchrist of McCullough, AL and Haley Lowrey of Uriah, AL; her siblings, Shannon Driskell of Millbrook, AL and Cindy Ward (Don) of Brewton, AL; her half-brother Daniel Driskell (Carolina) of Tampa, Florida; and her grandchildren, Mason Gilchrist and Daxton Lett. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Petty Funeral Homes (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
