She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Margaret Seymore Rush and Joseph Leo Rush; her former husband W. Cassady Bender; her grandchildren, Joshua Bender and McKinley Jacobs; and her brother Jerry W. Rush.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Greene; her children, Danny Bender, Kathy Weathers (Donald) and Patti Patterson (Steve); her stepdaughter Angie Astin (Ron); and her grandchildren, Brittney Williams, Joseph Bender, Todd Weathers, Adam Weathers (Lisa), Jamie King (Charlie), CJ McCluskey (Andrew), Chelsea Rice and David Cole Jacobs (Maddie). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (5171 AL-22, Valley Grande, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Pineview Memory Gardens (5255 AL-22, Valley Grande, AL 36701).
