She was predeceased by : her mother Katherine Chappelle; her stepfather Chester Chappelle; her brother Norman "Toby" McCurdy; her stepsister Linda Chappelle Carter; and her half-sister Vesta Smith.

She is survived by : her husband Larry Wade Riddle; her children, Brooke Kaiser and Jarrod Nichols; her stepson Brian Riddle (Robin); and her sister Jacqueline Mims (Rick). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
