He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurnie Johnston and Jean Johnston; his siblings, Jimmy Johnston, Brenda Schwall and Vickie Lynn Johnston; and his half-brothers, Reynolds Andrew Johnston and Gurnie Raymond Johnston Jr..
He is survived by: his brothers, Ronny Johnston (Pat) and Bruce Johnston (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
