He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde McKinney and Dorothy Hunt McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Jason McKinney (Sheena), Crystal McKinney and Kayla Sims (Eric); his grandchildren, Bradley McKinney (Lucy), Taylor McKinney, Izach McKinney, Bentley Sims, Jackson Sims, Landon Sims and Soon; his great grandchild Baby McKinney; and his siblings, Brian Lee McKinney, Deborah Massey and Teresa McFadden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Burt Chapel-Fort Payne Funeral Time (2100 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Walker's Chapel Cemetery.
