She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sr. Bartmess and Willie Mae Bartmess; her in-laws, Dr. Charles S. Otto and Ruth Otto; and her brothers-in-law, Bill and Bob Otto.
She is survived by: her husband John Otto; her children, Trina Ankney (Jeff), Shawn Blake (Nicole), Jason Otto (Crystal), Allison Bassett (Jamie), Katie Bannister (Brad) and Krystle Newton (Greg); her siblings, Jeannie Davidson (Daniel), Joseph Bartmess (Becky), Clara Williams (Joey), Juana Brunson (Gerald), Charlotte Simmons (Bennett), Willie Bartmess, Charles Otto, III (Linda) and Marilyn Russell (Drew); her pet Mazie Grace; and her close friend Blanca Guzman.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Langdale Methodist Church (6301 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
