Curtis H. Moore Obituary

We announce the death of Curtis H. Moore (Valley, Alabama), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moore and Sarah Crenshaw Moore; his wives, Jane Hanks Moore and Kay Pippin Moore; his siblings, Bertha Mae Bishop (Curtis), Cecil Moore (Reba), Louise Weldon (John), Betty Ann Crenshaw (Edward), Aubrey Thomas Moore, Darrell Thomas Moore, Louise Thrower (Jim) and George "Joe" Harris (Juanita); and his brother-in-law Walter Williams.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Adamson (Michael), Tim Moore (Jerri) and Todd Moore (Misty); his grandchildren, Dylan Moore (Jordan), Mallory Mitchell (Daniel), Mychaela Ray (Matt), Devin Moore (Danielle), Colden Moore (Rachel), Jarrett Black (Hannah), Kendall Moore (Cheyenne), Joshua Adamson (Shaina) and Mariah Hoppe (Chase); and his siblings, Dorothy Williams, Shirley Owens (Hoyt) and James Moore (Betty). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
