He is survived by: his wife Sherry Torbert of Valley, AL; his children, Michael Felton (Patricia) of Tuskegee, AL, Keith Torbert (Annie) of Opelika, AL, Alexander Torbert of Valley, AL and Kendarious Morris (Misty) of Opelika, AL; his siblings, Susan Cason (JT) of Decatur, GA, Shirley Hughley (Michael) of Tuskegee, AL, Clinton Torbert, Jr. (Gloria) of Opelika, AL and Michael Torbert of Tuskegee, AL; his aunts, Angeleen Gray (Louis) of Wichita, KS, Nona Sistrunk of Syracuse, NY and Bobbie Torbert of Richmond, VA; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Felton of Auburn, AL; his siblings-in-law, Marie Johnson of Midland, GA, Steve Johnson (Tina) of Opelika, AL, William Johnson (Donna) of Valley, AL and Timmy Johnson (Sharon) of Greensboro, NC; and his close friend Reverend Andrew Peoples of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801).
