It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Solomon Marie Sr. of Valley, Alabama, born in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Peter Marie, Sr. and Thelma Louise Smith; and his brothers, Corbet and Danny Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Angelena Marie; his children, Dave Marie, Jr. (Angel), Peter Marie (Hannah) and Rebekah Jn-Batiste (Richie); his grandchildren, Melanie, Bríanna, Robert, Joshua, Zach of Nick, RJ and Remi; and his sister-in-law Berylyn. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and church family members.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family can make donations to the Happy Valley Baptist Church Children's Department.
