She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford R. Stearns and Opal N. Stearns. She is survived by: her husband James Randy Newton; her children, Jason Randall Newton and Heather Michelle Smith (Paul); her grandchildren, A. J. and Caroline Smith; and her brother Ray Stearns (Sherry). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery.
