He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sims and Resa Sims. He is survived by: his children, Pam (Shane Stodghill) and Terry (Marshelia Duffey); his grandchildren, Chasity and Shawn; and his great grandchildren, Brynlee Akins and Dean Akins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
