He was predeceased by : his cousin Chad DuBois; and his uncle Marshall DuBois, Jr.. He is survived by : his parents, Marie DuBois of Valley, AL. and Joel R. Shumate, Jr. of Fort Mitchell, AL; his sister Bree DuBois; his stepsister Nycole Barfield; his aunt Corinne Vallejo; his uncles, Rene'DuBois, Roger Tanton, Kevin DuBois, Gene Shumate and Brian Shumate; his nephew Cam DuBois; and his niece Kyndal Barfield. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
