She was predeceased by: her husband John Robert Carmichael; her parents, L. F. Lanier, Sr. and Mary Louise Lanier; and her brother L. F. Lanier, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Robert Carmichael (Leta), Luanne Barber (Jerry) and Mark Carmichael (Lara); her grandchildren, Bishop Carmichael (Ann Marie), Baylee Carmichael, Andrew Barber (Brittany), Lindsey Mitchell (Brandon) and Anna Carmichael; her great grandchildren, Austin Barber, Ava Barber and Kaden Mitchell; her niece Tara Lanier Carter (Jason); and also, Angie, Felicia, Elaine and Keisha.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shawmut Cemetery.
