She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Jefferson and Thelma Gibson Watts; her stepfather John Willie Watts; her brothers, Dewey Gibson (Willie Gene), Sammy Lee Ingram and Willie Charles Watts; her cousin Christine Gibson; and her sister Bernice Watts.
She is survived by: her cousins, Laverne Gibson Houston (Rogers) of Valley, AL, Willie Earl Gibson (Dorothy) of Kathleen, GA, Kenneth Gibson (Denise) of Warner Robins, GA and Talanda Carter of Hope Mills, NC; her sister Hattie Pearl Johnson of Auburn, AL; and her caregiver Takeshi LeShun Gibson of Valley, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
