It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Harper (Valley, Alabama), who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Kelley; and his parents, Emory Harper and Ruby Harper. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherry Lackey (Randy), Jeffery and Ricky Harper.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garden Hill Cemetery (1218 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801).
