She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Luther and Mildred Crower; and her brother-in-law Raymond McLendon. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Thompson; her children, Brooke Washburn-Hazelip (Christopher), Lori Clifton (Michael), Dixie Van Meter (Lee) and Matt Thompson (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Micah, Jayden Kerry, Luke Thompson (Maddie), Logan Clifton (Lindsey), Cade Clifton (Amanda), Ben Clifton, Austin Van Meter, Tucker and Tanner Thompson; her parents, Victor Smith and Diane Smith; her siblings, Angelia McLendon, Vicky Herrick, Kevin Taylor (Toni), David Taylor (Lisa) and Marla Harmon (Roger); her extended family, Ralph Thompson (Donna) and Steve Thompson; and her friend Missi Sherer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley-Point Funeral Home & Cremation (1011 N Lanier Ave, Lanett, AL 36863). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
