In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Polly leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Polly may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Lawrence Nelson; and her husband Gene Martin. She is survived by: her daughter Shelby James; her grandson Jimmy James (Deven); her great grandchildren, Christian James, Logan James and Jesse James; and her brothers, Mack Bradley (Janice) and Bill Bradley.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
